Continuing Medical Education Program

The Continuing Medical Education (CME) Program at Holy Cross Hospital is structured to provide current and relevant educational activities for the medical and dental staff of the hospital and for interested physicians in the community. CME topics include but are not limited to practical problems in patient care, results of quality improvement studies, applications of new technologies and medical advances, and topics requested by the medical staff.

The CME program strives to further medical knowledge, and to maintain the high quality of patient care in the community served by Holy Cross Hospital.

CME Accreditation
Holy Cross Hospital is accredited by the Medical and Chirurgical Faculty of Maryland to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians. Holy Cross Hospital designates these educational activities for Category 1 credit toward the American Medical Association’s Physician’s Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those hours actually spent in the educational activity.
