Spiritual Care
Taking care of someone who is facing a life-threatening
illness can be overwhelming. Spiritual assistance is available to patients
and families of all faiths and beliefs. This may include:
- Spiritual counseling
- Crisis
support
- End-of-life support
- Ethical concerns
- Prayer
support
- Eucharistic ministry
- Sacraments of reconciliation
(confession) and anointing of the sick, upon request
The Holy Cross Hospital chapel is located on the first
floor and is open 24 hours. Persons of all faiths are welcome to use the
chapel for prayer and meditation. Catholic Mass is held on Sunday, Monday,
Tuesday and Thursday at 11:30 a.m. Communion services are held on Wednesday
and Friday at 11:30 a.m.
