Maryland’s senior citizen population is expected to grow significantly over the next few decades and Holy Cross Health has already answered the call with specialty services created especially with our elder patients in mind. Our forward-thinking approach means ensuring support both physically and mentally, inside and outside of the hospital. These services are not just for our patients, but for caregivers and family members too. Holy Cross Hospital has a long-standing commitment to our senior community. We introduced the nation’s first Seniors Emergency Center, a dedicated space created to reduce anxiety in patients while offering the finest care. Our Medical Adult Day Center offers a safe, supportive environment for adult daily care, respite to caregivers and supports older adults in aging in place. We’ve built on that with a diverse and far-reaching range of services that provide care at every level. You’ll find healthy-aging programs, at-home care, support services for caregivers and end-of-life care.

Holy Cross Health Partners are primary care offices owned and operated by Holy Cross Health, with locations at Asbury Methodist Village and Montgomery Village in Gaithersburg, and a location in Kensington. These practices include physicians with geriatric medicine training and expertise. They offer specialty consultation services including palliative care at these locations and the House Calls program (primary care delivered at home for those who can’t make it to the office) and cardiology care at Asbury Methodist Village.
