Holy Cross Hospital Among America's 100 Best for Critical Care for the Second Year in a Row

(Silver Spring, Md.) – Holy Cross Hospital is one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Critical Care™ for the second year in a row according to a national study by Healthgrades, the leading online resource for information about physicians and hospitals.

The achievement is part of Healthgrades' annual Report to the Nation that evaluates hospital performance at nearly 4,500 hospitals nationwide for 32 of the most common inpatient procedures and conditions, as well as outcomes in appendectomy and bariatric surgery.

• Five-Star for Treatment of Sepsis for fourteen consecutive years
• Five-Star for Treatment of Respiratory Failure for three consecutive years

In February 2019, Healthgrades also awarded Holy Cross Hospital the 2019 America's 250 Best Hospital Award™, placing it in the top five percent of hospitals nationwide for clinical outcomes.
