Dominic A Smith, MD

Dr. Dominic Smith, MD, is an oncologist at Holy Cross Health in Silver Spring, MD.

He earned his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in 2013 and completed a Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. Dr. Smith's passion for oncology was sparked during his tenure as a Hospitalist at Summit Medical Group in NJ, where he witnessed the impact of cancer on patients firsthand.

Inspired by his grandmother's battle with ovarian cancer, he is dedicated to providing compassionate care and support to patients facing similar challenges. With a background in Biology from Howard University, Dr. Smith has contributed to publications and presented posters at prestigious conferences. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and holds certifications in Oncology and Hematology. A member of professional organizations such as the American Society of Oncology and the American Society of Hematology, Dr. Smith is committed to excellence in patient care and advancing the field of oncology.
