Congratulations to Norvell V. Coots, M.D., President and CEO, Holy Cross Health, Maryland, on being recognized with the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award, signed by U.S. President Joseph R. Biden, Jr., at a Dec. 18, 2022, Rotary Club of Potomac ceremony.
Rotary Club President Pallavi Gowda, D.O., presented the award in recognition of Dr. Coots’ more than 40-year healthcare career and his more than 4,000 hours of charitable works with orphans around the world. This award was established in 2003 by the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation.
“It is a real honor to be recognized,” said Dr. Coots, “particularly for my passion for helping children.”
Retired Brigadier General Norvell V. Coots, M.D., proudly fulfilled many executive healthcare management and medical administration roles in the U.S. Army. He has been President and CEO of Holy Cross Health since Aug. 1, 2016.
