Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation

The Holy Cross Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Program is a collaborative effort among the specialized disciplines of physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology. Our staff is dedicated to helping patients achieve their highest possible level of independence and quality of life.

Members of the physical medicine and rehabilitation team at Holy Cross Hospital include:

  • Physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists are state-licensed and board-certified professionals.
  • Physical therapy assistants and certified occupational therapy assistants are state-licensed and board-certified professionals.
  • A physiatrist is a physician who specializes in the area of rehabilitation medicine. A physiatrist is available for consultation.
  • Support staff: trained rehabilitation aides and clerical staff support the therapist in their daily patient care activities.
