Holy Cross Hospital President & CEO is 2012 Catholic Business Person of the Year

Holy Cross Hospital President and CEO Kevin Sexton, received the 2012 Catholic Business Person of the Year Award from the Board of Directors of the Catholic Business Network of Montgomery County.

Among accomplishments recognized are Sexton’s leadership in growing patient volume, stabilizing the hospital’s financial performance and strengthening it’s quality and efficiency. Services for those in need were also expanded under his watch. Holy Cross Hospital recently established a health center in Aspen Hill for uninsured and underinsured patients, expanding such services beyond Silver Spring and Germantown, where the hospital has two other health centers. Prenatal care for uninsured women were expanded as well.

The Catholic Business Network of Montgomery County will honor Sexton at a gala on November 16 at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center.
