Judith Rogers Leaves as President of Holy Cross Hospital; Lou Damiano, MD, to be Acting President

(Silver Spring, Maryland) - Holy Cross Health of Silver Spring, Md., announced that Judith Rogers, president of Holy Cross Hospital, has left the organization. Lou Damiano, MD, vice president of Medical Affairs at the hospital will assume the role of acting president for Holy Cross Hospital.

In transition, Dr. Damiano is a strong and strategic leader with proven experience and strong ties at Holy Cross and within the region. We offer Lou our support and gratitude as Holy Cross continues to provide for the healthcare needs of the community we are privileged to serve," said Norvell "Van" Coots, MD, president and CEO of Holy Cross Health.
Before joining Holy Cross Health, Dr. Damiano was the Deputy Commander of Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) and Integration Programs at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
