Trinity Health and Catholic Health East Agree to Explore Coming Together

(Silver Spring, Maryland) - Earlier today, Trinity Health — Holy Cross Health's parent organization — announced that its Board of Directors has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to join together with Catholic Health East (CHE), another strong Catholic health system. In the coming months, leaders, sponsors and board members of the two organizations will explore the details of a possible consolidation. Their goal is to finalize a Definitive Agreement by spring 2013.
