Supporting Your Journey
Our specialists understand that a diagnosis of cancer is one of the most life-altering events in your life. Going through treatment for lung cancer can also come with many physical and emotional ups and downs. That is why Holy Cross Health has a dedicated nurse navigator who provides our patients with supportive care from diagnosis through all phases of treatment. In addition, support groups, individual counseling, and educational resources are all part of our cancer program, addressing the effects of illness not only on the body but on the mind and spirit.
Holy Cross Health’s support services include:
- Community Health Education Programs - Holy Cross Health offers more than 50 different types of health and wellness classes, as well as many special events throughout the year. From health screenings to exercise programs, lectures, and chronic disease prevention and management, many of our programs are free and are offered in multiple convenient community locations throughout Montgomery and Prince George's counties.
