Bernice Grossman
Bernice Grossman’s love of Holy Cross comes from personal experience. Her son Bob was director of our Medical Adult Day Center until his death from cancer in 1997, the same year she lost her husband Lou. Both were well cared for at Holy Cross on and off for several years. Bernice says, “Bob and Lou received the best care possible. I am grateful for the kindness and comfort I received from everyone at Holy Cross Hospital.”
A long-time donor and supporter of Holy Cross Health, Bernice is especially proud of our mission to serve everyone who needs medical care, regardless of the ability to pay.
Bernice was a strong advocate for bringing the new Holy Cross Germantown Hospital to upper Montgomery County on the campus of Montgomery College, where she still continues to work at the age of 91. “This part of the county deserved an excellent hospital and I am thrilled to have Holy Cross Germantown Hospital here,” she says.

"The people at Holy Cross are so caring. You feel that from the minute you walk in until you go home. Holy Cross is part of my family."
