Minimally invasive surgery, including robotic surgery (available at both hospitals).
Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS) — Transmits an image of the chest cavity onto a video monitor to help guide the procedure of diagnosing and treating symptoms in the chest, including lung cancer.
Robotic Lobectomy — Removal of a lobe of the lungs to treat lung conditions.
Segmentectomy — Removal of cancerous lung tissue.
Thymectomy — Removal of the thymus gland to treat Myasthenia Gravis (muscular weakness disorder).
Decortication — Removal of a restrictive layer of fibrous tissue on the surface of the lung that prevents the lung from expanding.
Mediastinal Surgery — To treat mediastinal tumors.
Robotic-Assisted Surgery — Used to treat bronchogenic cysts, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome with first rib resection, diaphragmatic hernias, and injuries.
