Holy Cross Health Network
The Holy Cross Health Network is dedicated to creating access to top-quality health care for all of the people in our community. We’re providing area residents with affordable medical care in four neighborhood centers and two primary care sites, and forging partnerships with providers, community health organizations and insurers to help area men and women live healthier lives.
Holy Cross Health Centers
Our Holy Cross Health Centers bring quality primary care to low-income residents in four Montgomery County locations:
- Holy Cross Health Center in Silver Spring
- Holy Cross Health Center in Gaithersburg
- Holy Cross Health Center in Germantown
- Holy Cross Health Center in Aspen Hill
Each year, thousands of adults who face financial barriers to accessing care make our health centers their medical home. That’s more than 30,000 visits to the centers a year.
The health centers’ highly skilled staff of physicians, nurse practitioners and registered nurses speak English and Spanish. Interpretation services are available for other languages, as well. The centers also serve as a training ground for the next generation of health care professionals.
Holy Cross Health Partners
Holy Cross Health Partners are primary care sites owned and operated by Holy Cross Health, with locations at Asbury Methodist Village in Gaithersburg and in Kensington. These practices specialize in internal medicine for adults and include physicians with geriatric medicine training and expertise.
Holy Cross Health Community Health Program
Holy Cross Health's Community Health program includes expansive outreach and education that offer health screenings with links to treatment, health education and wellness classes and special events available at community locations throughout Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties, as well as Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring and at Holy Cross Germantown Hospital.
The Community Health program offers something for every member of the family from exercise classes for adults and seniors—to support groups for caregivers and patients. There are courses to help families prepare for childbirth and parenthood and others to give people the tools they need to prevent and manage chronic disease. Literally hundreds of community health classes are offered every year and are focused on dozens of topics of interest to people of all ages.
The Community Health program features a team of multicultural and multilingual health workers who go into the community to distribute health education and information about medical services to help increase access to care for those who often go without—and to break down communication and cultural barriers that impede our community’s health.
